What do we do
Sports-alive.com is the leading sports-event photography company, specialising in photographing large sporting events and delivering high quality images to it’s customers.
We provide a full event photography service, which includes:
- Providing specialist sports photographers, with previous experience of the sport being covered.
- On site viewing of the images – often within minutes of the images being captured by using wireless transmission technology and a network of viewing stations.
- On Site printing of the images. This may be an individual image, or montage, or with the addition of text appropriate to the event.
- Post event web sales
- Provision of supporting images for publicity and internal use to the event organisers and any press requirements.
In addition to sports events we will also provide services for Corporate events, Balls and Proms.
We cover events throughout the UK.
We cover Rugby, Hockey, Cycling, Gymnastics and many other minority sports.

Who we are
Sports-alive is Gareth Jones and associates. Gareth has been taking photographs since school (a long time ago!), and is now specialising in sports-event photography. His long established IT background means he's able to utilise modern technology to deliver captivating images direct to your door within days of the event.
Gareth , is a Nikon Evangelist, and is a specialist in the use of Nikon wireless technology.
He has recently run Master classes at Nikon Solutions Expo on track cycling (Manchester velodrome), Capoeira and fencing, as part of the launch of the Nikon D3.
Gareth is also a training consultant in all models of Nikon DSLR cameras.
Gareth is an acknowledged expert on the management and delivery of photography at large scale sports events, and recently present at the SWPP London convention on this subject.
